My stay at the Doubletree by Hilton Virginia Beach had its highs and lows. I was initially disappointed with the customer service, as one staff member was quite rude. However, the manager, Paul, quickly resolved my issues and was exceptionally kind. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, but I did experience some minor maintenance problems during my stay.

On one hand, my room on the 12th floor was clean and comfortable, a true compliment to Hilton's Honors program for providing consistent breakfast and wifi. On the other hand, I encountered service issues that really detracted from my stay. The reception lacked friendliness and my initial room had unpleasant odors, though the manager ultimately helped resolve my concerns. Overall, it was a decent stay with some service hurdles.
